DT|UX Summit 2025
About this Event
Advancing Innovation through Humanity-Centered Design (HCD+)
in Indonesia and Across Asia
Singapore Polytechnic’s DT|UX initiative represents a comprehensive approach that blends Design
Thinking (DT) and User Experience (UX) through its proprietary Humanity‑Centred Design (HCD⁺)
innovation framework. Beginning with five structured touchpoints—Envision, Empathise, Create,
Evaluate, Deliver—this framework immerses participants in real-world challenges, encouraging
them to understand people deeply, prototype thoughtfully, and implement solutions sustainably.
Every year, Singapore Polytechnic hosts the DT|UX Summit, bringing its Humanity‑Centred Design
(HCD⁺) framework to life through immersive experiences such as the five‑stage Learning Journey
and interactive workshops. The 2023 Summit in Singapore featured a fireside chat with UX pioneer
Don Norman and saw Symbiosis International join the consortium; in 2024, the Summit expanded
beyond Singapore for the first time, taking place at Ateneo de Manila University under the theme
“Sustainable Futures” debuting the HCD⁺ Playbook and marking Don Norman’s first visit to the
Philippines. In 2025, DTUX Summit will be hosted by Binus University in Jakarta, Indonesia.
