BINUS CAREER CENTER is organizing another BINUS Online Job Expo at Anggrek Campus, BINUS UNIVERSITY, March 14-15, 2012. In the 19th BINUS Online Job Expo 105 national and international companies take part, with hundreds of job opportunities being offered.

“Indonesia’s human resources are qualified and a lot of people have huge potentials to create their own career, in the national and international industry. To prove this, we can see that 79 percent of BINUS UNIVERSITY alumni are already working before they graduated, and more than 300 BINUS alumni are having their own career in various countries, with top level positions,” Farrah Mahdaly, BINUS CAREER and Alumni Centre Manager says.

Farrah explains, hopefully all BINUSIAN and alumni in Indonesia have this achievement spirit within them, followed by sustainable evaluation process and self-development, in college and in the work place.

BINUS Online Job Expo is formulated with BINUS UNIVERSITY’s spirit and commitment in supporting students and alumni to acquire jobs and implement their knowledge on their work place.

“In addition, we also want to support a more efficient and easy recruitment process, for companies and alumni. Our other purpose is to make at least 1 out of 3 BINUS UNIVERSITY alumni working in multinational/global companies or being entrepreneurs,” Farrah says.

The difference of this year’s BINUS Online Job Expo with previous events, Farrah explains, is the online application facility which makes it easier for companies to find employees – in accordance to their needs.

This way, future employees have another advantage, because they have a bigger potential for work offers and work interviews from companies on the exhibition. “Some of the companies will directly perform selection process, such as interviews, psychology tests, technical tests and presentations about the companies itself,” Farrah says.
