BINUS Institutional Development Center (BIDC)

BINUS Institutional Development Center (BIDC) is focusing on academic development and facilitates study program in achieving Projects through Institutional Grant. BIDC is developing 9 programs and is offering 7 competitive grant programs in 2010.

Study Program Development

BIDC with Marketing Intelligence, Operation and Academic Divisions are working together to propose a new study program based on demand and future needs. The new study program must have a good prospect, well-accepted graduates in industries and aligned with government policy of opening a new study program.

Grants Program 2010

In offering the grants program, BIDC coordinates with Vice Rectors, Directors, and Deans. The inputs related with the grants opportunity are coming from units and/or Study Programs. In 2010, BINUS UNIVERSITY won Grants for activities, study program development and social responsibility program as follows :

  1. National Grants:
    1. Institutional Capacity Improvement Program
      Unit involved : Accounting, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Library and Knowledge Center, Information Technology Directorate.
    2. Entrepreneurship Program
      Unit involved : BINUS Entrepreneurship Center
    3. Resource Management for for Knowledge, Technology and Art
      Unit involved : BINUS Career, Research Interest Group, IT Directorate
    4. Social Responsibility for Anti-Corruption Campaign Program

About Us

BINUS Collaboration Center (BCC) facilitates cooperative ventures between BINUS UNIVERSITY and external parties, with the aim of maintaining the relevance of the University in the globalization era, and of closing the gap between the University’s curriculum and industry needs. We do that by continuously learning from and sharing the knowledge with our corporate partners, based on our faculty competencies. The Center acts as ‘hub’ that connects the faculties with external organizations and vice versa. It provides a platform for faculties and industry’s needs to meet on a common ground.

What We Do

What we are looking at is a synergistic partnership between the University with corporate partners. The formats are but not limited to: Academic, Corporate Social Responsibility, Professional Services, Talent Development, or combination of several formats.
