Technology in Education

Technology is currently changing at a rapid pace. This development can be used by teachers and students to conduct teaching and learning activities. As everyone is aware, technology is critical to the creation and dissemination of knowledge and information in the field of education in the digital age. Technology may assist teachers become more informed, as well as encourage and improve student learning in the classroom. Teachers and students believe that employing technology in the classroom is becoming increasingly important, and one example is a technology-based teaching technique.
In the last decade, social media and technology have been used in classrooms to improve learning, including online games and instructional materials. Teachers can quickly generate educational content using these free and user-friendly tools and apps. We can infer that teachers have and continue to use technology extensively to assist classroom instruction, improve the teaching and learning process, and help students understand what they are learning.
Furthermore, the pandemic scenario, which has us geographically isolated from students—teachers teach from home, and students study from home—forces us to stay current on the latest breakthroughs in our areas of expertise. One of them is the previously mentioned guidance for instructors on technology use. The most basic example uncovered is the increased need to use the WhatsApp application. Unbeknownst to us, the pandemic forced us to pursue technological adoption and adaptation. Before the pandemic, several teachers didn’t even own WhatsApp; thereafter, they used it to communicate with other teachers and pupils.
Finally, under these conditions, educational media play an important part in the teaching process. While most schools on the island of Java continue to use entirely online learning, the current scenario is different. Face-to-face learning allows teachers to communicate directly with pupils, and students can ask direct questions if they don’t grasp something.
