While both Visual Communication Design and Fine Arts involve the creation of visual works, they serve distinct purposes. In contrast, DKV emphasizes the effective and strategic use of visual elements to communicate messages and achieve specific goals within commercial or institutional contexts, designing visuals for branding, advertising, user interfaces, and other practical applications.

Students will learn various aspects of design and visual communication to create effective and aesthetic messages and problem solving, starting from the introduction of design elements and principles, how to draw well and as needed, communicate good visuals and the use of software as a support for visual creation that keeps up with the times.

Although having a talent for drawing can be very helpful, but not only the ability to draw to be able to produce good VCD work.
