Co-living, Co-creation System is pop-up/ mobile structure in the form of creative hub facility for elderly in the city to be more productive and to have a good relationship with their community, especially in this era of Covid-19 pandemic. From Semar as a figure in Punakawan story, we learn so many values; wisdom, protecting, nurturing, fun, and humanity. We are re-interpreting Semar in an infinity form, which can be translated into closed loop cycle of life. Co-living and co-creation are representing those values since co- living space brings us the spirit of Gotong Royong (cooperation) and collaboration.

This idea is manifested by interconnectivity of dots within the system. The system will connect the elderly, whenever they are within the city or suburbs, in a distant community throughout a bonding system. Also, this facility could diligently work with another supporting communities to enhance values, such as waste bank, art suppliers, and craft enthusiasts. This participatory design solution could be a balance system which creates sustainability in making a productive activity for the elderly, provide interaction, and distributing their craft work. So, the system will act to bond the elderly actively, as a “mobile creative hub”. The elderly can stay at home while connected with the communities without having to worry about the distance.

From the infinity loop, this facility is possible to open and close when needed. There are several storages to keep the hobbies and craft materials being safe, equipped by the seating facilities for the elderly to socialize each other. Just like a fabricated cabin, this construction is quite light, possible to move from one place to another, and could be store in a small container. With the flexible and movable system, this facility will be easily reaching the elderly anywhere. Also, with this easiness, this creative hub can be operated by the community member itself.
