Binus @Malang Tourism Village Research in Bendosari, Pujon
Lecturers from Binus @Malang, Mrs. Safitri Aprillia Putri and Mrs. Cahyaning Umul Chasanah N., along with a research team from the Visual Communication Design (VCD) department, conducted a study in a tourism village located in the Pujon, Malang. A brief notes, a Tourism Village is a village developed with the main goal of attracting tourists while maintaining local wisdom, traditions, culture, and the natural environment of the village. One successful example of tourism village development in Malang Regency is Bendosari Tourism Village, which is not only known for its agricultural products, waterfalls, and dairy products but also for its innovation in processing cow manure waste. This study was conducted with the hope that Bendosari Tourism Village will become more widely known through a bunch of branding, promotion, and educational programs.
This form of support has been warmly welcomed by the local residents and village officials, who hope that the commitment of Binus @Malang and the local community will proceed smoothly, allowing it to become a model village that can empower its residents in an innovative and creative way.
