Pia Cap Mangkok
Pia Cap Mangkok was made by a couple named Zabur Oetomo (Oei To Lam) and Tri Pinarti (The Pin Nio) in 1959, continuing their legacy through recipe by their ancestors. The recipe was then processed again using selected ingredients, to get the best taste and results.
Using traditional techniques, until now, every Pia Cap Mangkok is handmade one by one by hands. At the beginning of its journey, the production of Pia Cap Mangkok was done at the founders house, making only 20 pieces each day. There was only one flavor that time, and that is the green bean filling, packed with white oil paper without any stamps and logo, with 5 piece of pia in each pack. The sales were marketed independently from one place to another by Oei To Lam, every 2 days, so that customers always get fresh Pia Cap Mangkok with the best quality.
