BINUS DKV MALANG

Djati Lounge Malang. Javanese Cuisine wrapped in Cultural Visual Identity

Djati Lounge is a culinary site in Araya, Malang that offers an oasis that put Lifestyle and Romanticism at Peace. Surrounded by reflective and swimming pool also long golf course view. Started with a vision to create “escaping place” from everyday routine. Established in 2015. Blend between Indonesia’s natural heritage and modern lifestyle. The concept are applying Joglo architechtural approach, a traditional house of javanese that combined with modern elements. The combination of the two styles of local and modern elements indicates the process of acculturation of architecture on the shape and on each element of the architecture, starting from the mass system, the formation, the elements, the pattern of building layout, decoration, and others. Just as the name Djati, this place really uses djati wood which pops its identity as a cafe with a traditional feel.  Not much typography, its only the name and the logo of djati lounge, which for me I think it gives the impression of elegance and focus.
