Talking about the three learning styles popularized by Neil D Fleming, we are now discussing the last learning style, which is the Kinestetic. In the previous articles, we discussed auditory and visual learners and the best learning strategies for them. If you do not find yourself in any characteristics in the two previous articles, maybe you are included in this one. Here, we will recap last information of learning style.

A kinestetic learner is identical with energy and movement, they are best on processing the information when they are engaging in the learning process physically. All the process of learning is enjoyable for them because they are involved in every process of studying, both inside and outside the classroom. Even they are not good at concepts such as studying through reading and listening, they are good when performing the skills-based activities daily; thus, practicing and improving skills are better.

Since the Kinestetic learners study through an action, they have long memory and understanding. They do not easily forget things they have learned in many years. They are also good at innovating than implementing ideas due to a lot experiences. They tend to have many ideas because they are also curious by nature. They need people around and really enjoy working in a group to supporting their idea and behavior.

When you find yourself as one of the Kinestetic learners, you can use these learning strategies to support your learning performance: You can make a small note / flashcards about the idea which is not clear yet, and then you may figure out creative ways, such as games, to solve it. You may practice role-plays for some book content in alternating your reading activity and your learning style. Most importantly, never stop exploring the world around you because it will help gain your success in your studying journey.

Enjoy every single process of your learning and meet yourself in the suitable learning style to open your world.
