Fonts are designs for a series of characters. Fonts are a combination of fonts and other qualities, such as size, tone, and distance. For example, Times Roman is a typeface that determines the shape of each character.

SerifSerif Fonts are a type of typography that consists of lines with small stroke marks that are easy to read. Serif is the original font of the Latin alphabet. Examples of classic serif fonts are Times Roman, New Century Gothic, and Palatino. Sans Serif Font is a typography that consists of simple stroke lines. This type does not have decorations or small strokes such as the tip of the Serif typographic character. The term Sans Serif comes from the French “Sans” which means “without” and “Serif” which in Dutch means “line”. Some popular Sans Serif fonts are Helvetica, Avant Garde and Geneva. DisplayDisplay font types are also known as fonts for titles that are intended to attract the reader’s attention. This font is generally used for advertising on billboards, posters, book covers and also packaging. Designers usually use Display fonts with large size (> 14). Serif SlabThis font is around 200 years old and originated in England. These “fat” fonts have quickly become popular and are used in many media ranging from signs on crates to pamphlets.Until now Slab Serif is used for many designs. However, this font is more widely used by designers engaged in advertising because Slab Serif is large and thick so it can attract attention.  RetroRetro types are commonly used to bring readers into the ancient era with creative letter cuts. Retro fonts are found in Serif, Sans Serif and Script font types. Retro is often used in big headline advertisements, packaging or various types of classic and vintage logo designs.

Experimental Fonts are Fonts that are created in the presence of an object that is combined to form an alphabet or a font that is made difficult to read depending on the perspective of the reader. Experimental This font does not have rules like fonts in general that must be easy to read. This font also has a free and broad form. Usually this experimental font is used according to the font needs to form a work such as posters, book covers, etc. The difference between Experimental fonts and decorative fonts is that if the experimental fonts, most of the fonts are not similar in terms of shape, they can even be sized and usually, while decorative fonts usually have similar shapes but have additional images / visuals and are still readable.

The experimental font, I use the sans serif font that I match with my experiment font. My font theme is techno and retro font. Techno is a form of electronic music or EDM.

What is Techno? Techno is a pure electronic music, which was originally created to dance, then it was nominated by the classical German music genre and with a touch of American sense. Trechno flow more emphasis on the sound of the engine on an electronic drum machine. especially Roland TR-808.Techno is a form of electronic dance music (EDM) that emerged in Detroit, Michigan (USA) in the mid to late 1980s. First recorded using the word techno, referring to a music genre, in 1988. Many techno styles now exist, but Detroit techno is seen as the beginning of several existing subgenres. Techno itself emerged from the merging of music-based Eurocentric synthesizers and with various American post-disco and pre-disco music genres such as Chicago house, funk, electro, and electric jazz.

And also for ideas, I was inspired by EDM music event posters, where letters are usually made in waves or sometimes sentences made waves. Why is it bumpy? Because it explains the sound waves or music going up and down like this.

And the color that I use is a neon color, because the hallmark of EDM music is the colors that glow like neon. So I use black and also yellow neon highlighter.
