The age of social media has brought us so many stuff to enjoy. From connecting with people with the same interest, online shopping, to looking up references on something we like. Following the trend of beauty blogger, lately there has been an increase in the number of study related blogging. The people involved share various contents related to their student’s life online.

Instagram, YouTube, and Tumblr are among the main channels used to utilize the sharing of studying related tips and information. These people do not only share important tips like how to study effectively or how to make informative notetaking, but also the more trivial or entertainment inducing stuff like stationery and back to school shopping haul, what’s in their backpack and pen case, and how to organize/plan stuff through their planner or bullet journal.

The last one, bullet journaling is a huge trend on its own. Basically it is a way of organizing or listing down tasks/responsibilities/to-do list in a planner or a journal, complete with the aesthetics of, for example, doodling and small drawings in the spread as well as nice stickers. In a way, it helps people, students especially to keep track of what they need to do and from a productivity point of view it is no wonder why pretty much all study bloggers are on the same train about it.

Being a study blogger, besides increasing productivity in a positive way if done well, can also be a way in helping develop one’s personal brand. Furthermore, the advantages do not only revolve around the creator, but also spread to those watching/seeing the content. It can be a motivation to always keep providing good, useful content for others as well as for their own personal development. On the other hand, the viewers might also get inspiration for it to become better at organizing and studying, or even starting their own study blogging account.

It is unclear as to what prompted this rise of study blogger trend, but it shows no sign of going down, especially with the fact that it actually is beneficial for many out there, not just students, due to its productivity function.
