What began as a distant dream soon became one of the most unforgettable chapters in Muhammad Raihan Sabili’s university life. Through the Enrichment Study Abroad program at BINUS, Raihan had the chance to spend a life-changing semester at Keimyung University in South Korea—an experience he never imagined would be possible.
“I never thought studying at BINUS could lead me abroad,” Raihan recalled. “It used to be just a dream, but BINUS truly provided the support and guidance to make it happen.”
Studying in Korea exposed Raihan to a completely different academic atmosphere. The teaching methods, classroom dynamics, and learning culture at Keimyung University pushed him to grow in ways he hadn’t anticipated. But more than academic insights, the experience sparked a deeper journey of personal development.
Raihan found himself immersed in a culture both vibrant and rich in tradition. From daily interactions with locals to meaningful exchanges with fellow international students, he began to see the world through new lenses. “It wasn’t just about studying,” he said. “It was about understanding new perspectives, stepping far beyond my comfort zone, and discovering who I am.”
Every day presented something new—whether it was navigating life in a foreign country, trying authentic Korean cuisine, or making friendships that transcended borders. These experiences weren’t just memorable—they were transformative.
Looking back, Raihan describes his semester abroad as one of the most defining periods of his university journey. “It opened doors to things I never thought I’d experience. I got to try so many new things and grow in ways that would’ve never happened if I hadn’t taken this leap.”
