Faculty Members from Creativepreneurship Department Conduct Faculty Mobility in Malaysia

Bandung, [October 19, 2024] – As part of BINUS University’s ongoing commitment to fostering global collaboration and academic excellence, Dr. Mulyani Karmagatri and Dian Kurnianingrum, faculty members from the Creativepreneurship Department, participated in a Faculty Mobility program in Malaysia from October 13 to 18, 2024. The program included visits to three prestigious institutions: Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

Throughout the week, Dr. Mulyani and Dian were actively involved in International Teaching sessions, sharing innovative insights with students and faculty from each institution. Additionally, they participated in Curriculum Benchmarking discussions, collaborative research initiatives, and industry visits to strengthen connections between academia and industry. Key collaborations during the visit included engagements with Dr. Isma Addi Bin Jumbri from UTeM, Associate Professor Dr. Ummi Salwa Ahmad Bustamam from USIM, and Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Rohana Zur from UiTM.

The program also included visits to two prominent SMEs in Malaysia, Alina Batik and Fifabart, where Dr. Mulyani and Dian explored the integration of traditional craftsmanship with modern entrepreneurial strategies. These visits provided valuable insights into how small businesses in Malaysia are innovating and sustaining growth in competitive markets. This initiative underscores BINUS University’s commitment to bridging academia with real-world industry practices, fostering creativity, and promoting sustainable entrepreneurship.
