- Business Law Faculty’s Role in KOMINFO Event
In February 2023, BINUS’ Business Law faculty took part in a public discourse organized by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (KOMINFO), focusing on the implementation of the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP). The event gathered stakeholders to address data protection challenges, supporting effective policymaking and highlighting data privacy concerns, which align with SDG goals.
- Partnership with Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI)
BINUS has a longstanding collaboration with the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), particularly in organizing the Special Professional Advocate Education (PKPA) program with PERADI West Jakarta. This initiative aims to produce skilled legal professionals who can engage in SDG-related policy development, especially in business law, human rights, and environmental protection.

BINUS University recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, emphasizing its commitment to supporting national policies and enhancing Indonesia’s economic competitiveness.
- Research & Innovation Expo 2023
At the BINUS @Alam Sutera campus, during the Research & Innovation Expo 2023, the Minister of Investment, Bahlil Lahadalia, delivered a keynote speech on “Downstream Policies for National Independence and Progress.” This collaboration between government and higher education aims to accelerate Indonesia’s path toward becoming a developed nation, focusing on sustainable economic growth.
