Mental health support
Binus University is dedicated to cultivating a supportive environment that prioritizes the comprehensive well-being of both its students and staff. Through a range of accessible mental health programs and resources, the university emphasizes the importance of emotional resilience and academic success. This commitment underscores the university’s efforts to provide essential support and resources to its diverse academic community.
As proof of supporting mental health, Binus provide programs for students and staffs. These programs are free of charge and it can be accessed by all students and staffs. The programs are follows:
1. Well-being program that aims to support students who had mental health problem and/or psychological problems related to the academic and non-academic fields that can interfere with their study at Binus University.
2. Mental Health Month. Is a Daily Encouraging Quotes​ & Workshop Series​ that occurred once a year (on October) to also celebrate World Mental Health Day.
3. Counselling for students Employee Assistant Program (EAP). This is a counselling session with Physiatrist and Psychologist​. The implementation is by agreement between the Employee and Psychologist and Psychiatrist.
In addition, Binus employees also receive medical benefits, including examinations of mental disorders related to mental health conditions (As written in the Medical handbook Page 3, point 8)
