BINUS University provides assistance in the local community to support the start-up of financially and socially sustainable businesses through various educational resources and programs. A key initiative is the BINUS Incubator, which serves as a platform for students to develop their business ideas into real enterprises. This incubator not only focuses on our students but also extends its services to alumni and local community members, including external parties seeking support in launching their ventures.
Key features of the BINUS Incubator include:

  • Business Incubation Programs: Designed for students who choose the Entrepreneurship Track in the Program Enrichment, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to start their own businesses.
  • Co-Working Space: Facilities like co-working spaces available at campuses such as Anggrek, Alam Sutera, and Bekasi, foster collaboration among start-ups.
  • Lecturer Expert Series: Sessions featuring industry experts who share valuable insights and best practices.
  • Demoday and Pitchdeck Sessions: Opportunities for students and local community entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to potential investors and receive constructive feedback.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Comprehensive support that includes mentorship for grant applications and guidance for both student and local community start-ups.
  • Start-Up Expo: An event designed to connect start-ups with the local community and potential investors.

Additionally, BINUS University’s Community Development Academic (CDA) extends support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through various developmental initiatives. One such program is “Konsultasi untuk Desa dan UMKM,” which focuses on training and developing business skills for these enterprises. This program offers free online seminars and training sessions aimed at enhancing MSMEs. These sessions are designed to improve production strategies, refine promotional techniques, and enhance financial management and distribution processes.
