International collaboration data gathering for SDG
BINUS emphasizes the importance of international collaboration in higher education. By sharing knowledge, resources, and expertise, universities contribute to SDG data collection and empower young leaders and researchers to take actionable steps toward sustainable development, advancing a more equitable future for all. These initiatives can be seen through:
- Youth Model ASEAN Conference (YMAC) 2023
BINUS University collaborated with Singapore Polytechnic in YMAC 2023, a conference that gathered youth from across ASEAN to address regional challenges, particularly related to the UN SDGs and the impact of COVID-19 on ASEAN communities. Through group discussions and collaborative projects, participants researched and developed action plans to tackle real-world issues, contributing to SDG data collection and solution development. - International Conference and Community Development (ICCD) Collaboration
In October 2023, BINUS University renewed its partnership with Universitas Moestopo, Universitas Sahid, Universitas Mercu Buana, and Universitas Budi Luhur for the ICCD. This platform brought together academics, researchers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge on sustainable development, fostering innovative strategies to address global issues such as poverty, inequality, and climate change.
