Jakarta, 2 August 2023 – BINUS University’s Multisite International Summer Course 2023, organized by the BINUS Business School, was more than just an academic endeavor; it was a journey towards sustainability and cultural appreciation.

29 students from various countries had the chance to unravel the vibrant cities of Jakarta, Bandung, Bekasi, Semarang, and Malang, where they explored various facets of sustainability and delved into the realm of socially responsible entrepreneurship.

The “Journey to Sustainability” program aimed to equip students with a profound understanding of building businesses that prioritize sustainability. Not only aimed to foster academic growth but also sought to enrich students’ understanding of sustainability and its importance in today’s interconnected world through seminars, workshops, and cultural experiences; they embraced the idea of sustainable practices in business and beyond.

Erin Vol L. Raquinio from Mariano Marcos State University shared her heartwarming experiences in Indonesia, expressing gratitude for the warm reception she received from the locals. “When I came to Indonesia, I felt welcomed because many people are very empathic and sympathetic towards us. They greeted us with warm hearts and at the same time with warm smiles.”

The connections forged during this enriching journey are expected to last a lifetime, serving as a testament to the power of international collaboration and understanding.
