BINUS UNIVERSITY Welcomes Delegates from the Singapore Embassy in Jakarta

Jakarta, 7 September 2022 – BINUS University welcomed several Delegates from the Embassy of Singapore in Jakarta, including the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Education and Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Maliki Osman, and the Ambassador of Singapore to Indonesia H.E. Mr. Kwok Fook Seng.

The visit was part of an engagement with BINUS students on Singapore-Indonesia cooperation. BINUSIANs had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with Mr. Osman and Mr. Seng.

“I am very happy that our dear BINUS students with us today are accompanied by an inquisitive group from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). BINUS University places international experiences such as this at the core of its teaching and learning practices because we understand that global leaders must engage with different perspectives in the region and beyond,” said BINUS Global Director, Diah Wihardini, B.Sc. (Hons)., M.Ed., Ph.D.

From extracurricular activities to other enrichment programs, students will have plenty of opportunities to expand their horizons beyond the classroom. Take the example of Yasmin Anggraini Teguh, our BINUSIAN majoring in English Literature, who came to share her experience of how the university provided her with opportunities to develop and grow beyond the classroom.
