Creative Business Idea Competition 2024

BINUS University, in collaboration with SolBridge International School of Business of Woosong University in the Republic of Korea and Swiss German University (SGU) in Indonesia, is inviting BINUS students to apply for the 2024 Creative Business Idea Competition (CBIC) from January 29 to February 3, 2024, in Jakarta. During the program, 24 students from these three universities will work intensively, build multi-national friendships, and design creative and competitive business ideas.

  • Online on Zoom Meeting: 2 sessions between January 17 and 27, 2024
  • Onsite in Jakarta: January 29–February 3, 2024

PROGRAM OFFERS

  • Group discussions with participants from various backgrounds and cultures
  • Opportunity to meet panelists from BINUS, industry partners, and venture capital

  • Opportunity to win prizes (1st Place $ 300; 2nd Place $ 200; and 3rd Place $100)

January 8 to 14 Application Period.

14 January is the latest date to receive the applications. Application submissions after the deadline will not be considered.
January 15 Selection Result Announcement (on Telegram Channel io_binus and Instagram @io.binus)
January 17 to 27 Two Elective Days for Group’s Zoom Meeting for Preliminary Business Ideas
January 29 – February 3 Series of CBIC (more detailed programs will be shared later with the selected students)

HOW TO APPLY
Please make sure that you:

  • Are highly motivated, assertive, and open-minded
  • Are an active BINUS student of any majors from Greater Jakarta campuses, but preferably from business-related study programs
  • Have a good command of English, both speaking and writing skills
  • Have a strong interest in business design, including entrepreneurship
  • Are committed to joining and actively participating in all sessions
