Jakarta, 18 October 2023 – BINUS University recently hosted a critical Monitoring and Evaluation Meeting for the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program alumni from LLDIKTI Wilayah III (DKI Jakarta) on Wednesday, 18th October 2023. The gathering, held in Room 800 (Hall 8th Floor) at Anggrek Campus, BINUS @Kemanggisan, brought together key stakeholders and representatives to meticulously evaluate the impact and effectiveness of this prestigious international mobility scholarship.
The IISMA program, a cornerstone of the emancipated campus flagship programs initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, offers undergraduate and vocational students the unique opportunity to spend a semester at distinguished universities and industries worldwide. This initiative has fostered a future-ready mindset, equipping Indonesian students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a globalized world.
The comprehensive monitoring and evaluation meeting facilitated in-depth discussions on the program’s achievements, challenges, and overall impact. Distinguished attendees included representatives from the Office of General Inspectorate IV (Inspektorat IV Itjen) under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology; the Internal Supervisory Unit-LPDP (SPI-LPDP) under the Ministry of Finance; the Directorate of Academic Affairs for Vocational Higher Education (Dit APTV Ditjen Vokasi); and PPKM-IISMA UGM.
This meeting provided a valuable platform for constructive evaluation. It allowed all involved parties to refine and enhance the program’s effectiveness. The panel highlighted their commitment to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence in preparing students for the challenges of an interconnected global landscape. The meeting underscored the significance of ongoing collaboration and refinement to ensure the continued success of the IISMA initiative.
BINUS University, through the IISMA program, has successfully sent more than 80 students abroad from 2021 to 2023, enriching their academic and personal experiences.
