Fostering Partnership and Academic Excellence with Universitas Udayana

Jakarta, 4 July – The visit from a representative of Udayana University, headed by Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., Vice-Rector of Student Affairs, to BINUS University (03/07) demonstrates their commitment to strengthening our collaboration as part of NUNI members.

Leaders from both institutions discussed how they could support in areas such as graduate programs through research and examiner exchanges, which were key points of our discussions. Additionally, BINUS University shared insights on integrating information systems across its widespread campus locations.

“Our universities share a longstanding commitment to academic collaboration and community development, which is fundamental to our joint aspirations of becoming a world-class university and empowering society to build the nation,” as expressed by Prof. Dr. Engkos Achmad Kuncoro., S.E., M.M., Vice-Rector of Academic Development.

Together with Ir. Dave Mangindaan, Ph.D., from the BINUS Waste-Food-Environmental Interest group, and Prof. I Nyoman Suprapta Winaya, S.T., M.A.Sc., Ph.D., who is the Head of the Research Group on New Renewable and Conservation Energy (NRCE) at Udayana University, both institutions are keen to work together on research initiatives focused on energy and environmental conservation, with a specific emphasis on innovative waste management approaches.
