Jakarta, 14 November — The latest signing is a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT TUV Nord Indonesia (TUV Nord), which aims to expand the collaboration between the university and the industry.

“This collaboration was chosen for its potential to foster meaningful synergies and advance research in Computer Science. It serves as a bridge between academic expertise and the practical demands of the industry, ensuring that innovation is not only achieved but also aligned with real-world needs,” Mr. Herdiansyah, President Director of PT TUV Nord Indonesia, mentioned at BINUS University @Anggrek – Syahdan Campus.  

The collaboration will feature a focused research effort within the Doctoral Program in Computer Science, led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Ford Lumban Gaol, S.Si., M.Kom. The mission is to drive innovation in digital services, hoping that it will unlock new avenues of growth and ensure that their development is aligned with the constantly evolving landscape of the industry.

“Through expanded research opportunities, internships, and recruitment facilitation with TUV Nord, we at BINUS University reaffirm our commitment to high-impact research and the professional preparedness of its graduates for the global stage,” added Dr. Rini Setiowati, S.E., M.B.A., Vice-Rector of Collaboration and Global Engagement. 

In parallel, TUV Nord offers undergraduate Computer Science students internship opportunities, ensuring they gain valuable industry exposure to sharpen their skills and elevate their professional readiness for the tech and service industries.
