BINUS UNIVERSITY Strengthens Educational Collaboration with the Malaysian Embassy

Jakarta, 7 August — Reflecting on our strong ties with Malaysian universities, our Rector, Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M., welcomed Dr. Hasnul Faizal Hushin Amri, Menteri Penasihan (Pendidikan) Kedutaan Besar Malaysia, to our Anggrek Campus as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the partnership between BINUS University and higher education institutions in Malaysia.

The university has recorded close to 400 joint activities, including student and faculty exchanges, research collaborations, and support for global rankings!

“Our partnership with Malaysian universities has played a key role in advancing our global academic collaborative programs, with over 700 joint research publications serving as a testament to our efforts,” stated Dr. Nelly.

Mr. Zulfadhli Bin Hamzah, Education Attaché of Education Malaysia Indonesia, praised BINUS University for its proactive involvement in these collaborations and expressed a strong interest in broadening the partnership and offering various scholarship and research grants. “We aim to expand collaboration in graduate programs, especially in green technology and sustainability, along with the online learning program and the launch of a new Education Travel program,” added Mr. Hamzah.

In addition, Randy Hadipoespito, B.A., MIB, BINUS Online Development Specialist, conveyed enthusiasm about potential collaborations for the online learning program by highlighting the substantial growth of our BINUS Online (BION) program, which currently enrolls over 13,000 students, many of whom come from various industry sectors.
