Tangerang — The most exciting part of the latest benchmarking study was the visit of distinguished delegations from eight leading national universities, which focused on exchanging knowledge to provide academic excellence to the community.
Led by Prof. Dr. Tirta Nugraha Mursitama, Ph.D., our Vice-Rector for Collaboration & Global Engagement, the delegation engaged in a discussion to promote a deeper understanding of collaborative learning and knowledge sharing between institutions. They also explored innovative ways to create a more significant impact on society.
“For BINUS University, collaborating with other higher education institutions such as yours is part of BINUS University’s 2035 Vision: ‘a World-class university, fostering and empowering the society in building and serving the nation.’ This effort aims to create a synergy that has a significant impact (engaging for impact),” as stressed by Prof. Tirta during the event.
While participants had the opportunity to delve into these topics with our subject experts, the primary focus was on promoting interdisciplinary research to strengthen industry connections and enhance practical experiences, thereby improving graduates’ employability.
“I wish that we could have more time to discuss today, but overall, it was a great experience!” as stressed by Deborah Kurniawati, the Head of the Information System Program at Universitas Teknologi Digital Indonesia in Yogyakarta.
The benchmarking study created a platform for collaborative learning and knowledge sharing among representatives from Universitas Borneo Tarakan, Universitas Esa Unggul, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta, Universitas Sang Bumi Ruwa Jurai, Universitas Teknologi Digital Indonesia, and Universitas Sampoerna . It catalyzed collective progress in academia and promoted a deeper understanding of how to achieve far-reaching benefits for society together with BINUS University.
