Striving for Excellence Together through Benchmarking Study

Jakarta, 1 April 2024 – BINUS University hosted several top universities on campus as part of a benchmarking study aimed at promoting excellence.

From Hasanuddin University in Makassar, Petra Christian University in Surabaya, and Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta came in the period of March until April to meet with various faculty leaders and subject experts.

“This visit’s purpose is to conduct a benchmarking study on the implementation of hybrid learning and the design of creative rooms within the BINUS Graduate Program’s learning environment,” said Prof. Baharuddin, ST., M.Arch., Ph.D., Vice-rector of Academic and Student Affairs at the School of Graduate Program, Hasanuddin University who met with Dr. Sani Muhamad Isa, S.Si., M.Kom., as our Director of the BINUS Graduate Program.

On another occasion, Petra Christian University had a fruitful discussion on how they can learn from us to boost their QS World Rankings and improve their internationalization programs and research opportunities, led by Prof. Dr Tirta Nugraha Mursitama, S.Sos., M.M., PhD, our Vice-Rector for Collaboration and Global Engagement.

According to the latest QS World Rankings, BINUS University is ranked in the Top 351-400 globally for its Business Management Studies program and Computer Science and Information System. Our success means that we have something to inspire others, especially since Petra Chrisitan University is part of the Nationwide University Network in Indonesia (NUNI).

Also, the visit from Gadjah Mada University with the School of Computer Science became one of the highlights because of their reputation and the opportunities to work together in academics.
