Jakarta, 4 November — In a continuous effort to promote awareness of integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into daily life, BliBli, Tiket.com and Ranch Market, alongside Ecoxyztem, organized the Langkah Membumi Festival 2024, taking place on 2-3 November 2024 at Senayan Park.

During the festival, BliBli, the first e-commerce company to foster a healthy ecosystem for sustainability business in Indonesia, and its partners join forces with universities, including BINUS University, to inspire and empower youth through a campus tour featuring an Eco-Lifestyle talk show. This initiative is designed to help young people to make practical, everyday changes to address the climate crisis.
Prior to the main festival day, a talk show was held at our Alam Sutera Campus in Serpong, Tangerang, with guest speakers including Mr. Michael Susanto, Strategic Planning and Partnership at Tanoto Foundation; Mr. Ewaldo Amaral, ESG & Sustainability Lead at Tiket.com; and Ms. Hanna Varah Vania, Communication Strategist at Katadata. The experts discussed the growing potential of green jobs and emphasized the critical role universities play in preparing students with the skills needed for these future roles.

Almost a decade of sustainable development initiatives has spurred innovations across sectors in alignment with the 17 SDG targets. This has opened up new job markets, as stakeholders from government, industry, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) increasingly shift to sustainable business models, creating demand for experts in sustainability in numerous fields.
At the main event on November 3, Mr. Budi Sriherlambang, S.Sn., M in Imagineering., Head of the New Media Program at BINUS School of Design, was invited as a speaker at the talk show. He shared that “BINUS University as a leading university in technology and digital innovation has been proactive in supporting sustainable development programs by embracing environmentally friendly technologies.”
