Access to University Track Underrepresented Groups Applications
BINUS University measures and tracks applications and admissions of under-represented groups, including ethnic minorities, low-income students, non-traditional students, women, and disabled students. Our approach involves three key activities:
- Data Collection: We systematically collect demographic data from applications to understand who is applying and being admitted.
- Regular Reporting: Our admissions office compiles annual reports on the demographics of applicants and admitted students. This information is essential for assessing our progress.
- Target Setting: Based on the collected data, we establish specific targets to improve representation of under-represented groups. The results of these efforts contribute to the annual achievements of each unit within the university.
In 2023, BINUS University has set a target of 1,000 scholarship recipients from under-represented groups and aims for an 80% on-time graduation rate among these students. The results of these efforts contribute to the annual achievements of each unit within the university.
