Mental Health Support for Staff
BINUS University is committed to fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes the well-being of its staff through a variety of mental health programs. The university emphasizes emotional resilience by offering accessible mental health resources and training programs, which are tailored to address the needs of its diverse academic community.
Some of these initiatives include:
- Personal Development (PD) Fest, which covers topics such as “Mental Wellness: Developing a Positive Mindset & Managing Stress” and “Sustaining Mental Health in Challenging Situations.”
- Lecturer Engagement Series, focusing on “The Role of Support Systems for Mental Health.”
- Muscling Up on Mental Health, promoting the evidence supporting sports and physical activities as part of routine mental health treatment.
These programs are led by both internal university professionals and external experts to ensure that high-quality education and support are provided.
Additionally, BINUS University offers a Mental Health Check-Up program (an assessment to identify the symptoms of one’s mental health condition), and the Employee Assistance Program, which provides counseling services. Complementing these initiatives is the Employee Happiness Program, which features social activities like culinary events, movie nights, and reflexology sessions.
