BINUS University has established collaborations with various health institutions to improve health and wellbeing outcomes at local, national, and global levels. Locally and nationally, BINUS collaborates with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) for regular blood donation drives to support the local blood supply. In a global collaboration, BINUS partners with the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI) and Kalbe Consumer Health. This event included an international seminar, workshop, and discussions related to health issues. Additionally, to ensure the health of our employees, we provide comprehensive medical benefits managed through an external administrator, Ad-medika, which oversees our healthcare services and supports employee wellbeing.
In terms of research, Binus collaborates with health institutions, research agencies, and universities from various countries, particularly in cancer research. Some research projects include:

  1. Genome-wide interaction analysis of folate and colorectal cancer risk.
  2. Analysis of the relationship between diabetes and colorectal cancer through gene-environment interactions.
  3. Investigation of genetic loci associated with body mass index and colorectal cancer risk.
These efforts enhance understanding of cancer mechanisms and may lead to the development of effective prevention strategies.
