Ethical Value at BINUS
Ethical Values at BINUS UNIVERSITY are embedded in Binusian Values. These values are embodied in SPIRIT, which consists of:
- Striving for Excellence – We continuously do our best to achieve high quality results in every aspect of our work.
- Perseverance – We stay calm, focuses, never give up and quickly recover in overcoming challenges.
- Integrity – We are honest, transparent, sincere and courageous in doing the right thing.
- Respect – We care for others. We value differences and contributions from every individual.
- Innovation – We encourage creative, breakthrough, and sustainable ideas to continuously improve processes in order to achieve better result.
- Teamwork – We believe in the importance of collaborative, effective, and trustful working relationships as one team.
BINUSIAN values act as a strong pillar for BINUS as an organization and its entire academic community. These values also form the basis for formulating strategic plans for community development programs, training planning which is formulated in the BINUS Learning Focus. Moreover, as outlined in the Strategic Plan for Community Engagement 2021–2035.
The SPIRIT values also form the basis for training planning, which is formulated in the BINUS Learning Focus. Moreover these values are expected to guide students throughout their studies and continue to be a core value in their professional careers and social lives, aligning with the BINUS Graduate Attributes.
BINUS conducts training programs aimed at enhancing the understanding of BINUS values, both for employees and students. These training programs are designed to ensure that ethical values are integrated into every aspect of the university, from leadership development to daily operational practices. Training based on these values is provided at all levels of the organization, ensuring that faculty, staff, and students uphold these principles in their academic and professional lives.

Additionally, BINUS conducts training programs aimed at enhancing the understanding of BINUS values, both for employees and students. This activity is conducted regularly during the orientation for new employees and new students.
