This study focuses on the existence of exports, the sustainability of production, and efforts to expand the local market for rattan furniture industry in Desa Trangsan, Sukoharjo. Start from the rattan furniture export market entity in Desa Trangsan, the researchersfocus more on strategies of maintaining the industry sustainability as well as carry out studies and analysis in the area to discover how the Grebeg Penjalin Festival contributes to help expanding the local rattan furniture market. The idea of Grebeg Penjalin Festival is to bring in many visitors to see the work of the rattan craftsmen of Desa Trangsan. Collecting data through literature studies, field observations, interviews, documentation and surveys with qualitative analysis methods.
