Ecotourism-Based Artificial Intelligence: Case Study in Bekasi Regency
Abstract: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in ecotourism has emerged as a transformative approach to achieving sustainable tourism goals. By leveraging AI technologies, tourism destinations can enhance operational efficiency, personalize visitor experiences, and foster environmental conservation. This study examines the implementation of an AI-powered application in Bekasi Regency, Indonesia, a region known for its rich natural and cultural heritage. Key features such as real-time monitoring, AI-driven recommendations, and interactive mapping were developed to address ecological challenges while promoting sustainable tourism practices. The study also discusses the implications of data privacy, algorithmic bias, and social inclusivity in adopting AI-driven solutions. It demonstrates how technology can provide a balanced approach to advancing ecotourism while supporting local communities.
