Uzda is a designer, lecturer, and researcher whose work bridges visual communication, digital technology, and education. She began her career with a strong foundation in design, earning a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design from Universitas Dinamika and continuing to deepen her expertise with a Master of Design from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). With over four years of experience as a faculty member at Bina Nusantara University (BINUS), Uzda has helped shape the next generation of creative professionals while actively developing research in creativity studies, educational media, and user experience design. Her recent projects reflect a commitment to human-centered, socially responsive design. These include the development of “Garudeya,” an illustrated digital book that introduces Indonesian heritage to children, and “MALING,” a mobile app aimed at helping users plan their holidays more efficiently. Uzda also collaborates with local SMEs to create impactful Instagram content, and supports eco-tourism through digital mapping and visual storytelling—such as an isometric map for Bendosari Village. Her academic contributions also extend to critical studies on gender in K-pop, Mooi Indie visual culture, and the role of design in shaping public narratives. Whether in the classroom, in the field, or through published work, Uzda is passionate about exploring how design can empower learning, bridge cultural gaps, and spark innovation. She continues to find inspiration in the blend of traditional art and modern technology—believing that design is both a discipline and a tool for social change.
