Prof. Dr. Rosilah Hassan, who is a top 2% scientist in the world. The moderator, Mr. Andika, introduced the topic of the meeting, which was about the next generation of network, LiFi. Prof. Dr. Rosilah Hassan then shared her research on LiFi, which was published in 2023 in the International Conference of Computing and Information Technology in Saudi Arabia. She also mentioned her team’s work on LiFi, which included students from Malaysia, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. The meeting discussed various wireless communication technologies, including LiFi, a new technology that uses visible light to transfer data, and its potential advantages over Wi-Fi. It is also explored the potential of using LiFi in conjunction with other technologies like 5G and the possibility of using sunlight to transfer data in the future.
