Health Technology R&D Exhibition

The Seminar and Health Technology R&D Exhibition is the flagship public event of the BINUS HealthTech Festival 2026 — a multidisciplinary forum bringing together government, academia, healthcare professionals, industry, and researchers under one roof. Centered on the theme of affordable and accessible health technology innovation, the event is designed to accelerate the translation of research into real-world healthcare solutions that are equitable, scalable, and aligned with Indonesia’s Universal Health Coverage (UHC) agenda.

The seminar program opens with a high-level plenary session, “Innovating for Universal Health Coverage: Technology, Policy, and Partnership,” featuring keynote addresses from distinguished leaders including Vice Minister Prof. Stella Christie, PhD (Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology) and Vice Minister Prof. dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Sp.PD-KEMD., Ph.D (Ministry of Health). This is followed by an expert panel session, “From Innovation to Impact: Translating Health Technology into Equitable Care,” which brings together international and national thought leaders to discuss clinical needs, implementation challenges, and pathways for commercializing affordable health technology — featuring voices from KU Leuven Belgium, the Asian Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and Halodoc Indonesia (TBC).

The R&D Exhibition runs alongside the seminar as an interactive showcase of health technology innovation from across the academic and industry ecosystem. Visitors will encounter working prototypes and functional health devices, digital health solutions spanning AI, telemedicine, and health information systems, biomedical engineering innovations, translational research posters, and market-ready health technology products. The exhibition floor is designed not just to display, but to spark conversation — with dedicated space for business matching and networking to encourage the partnerships that move ideas from the lab into clinical and community settings.

Exhibitors and participants represent the breadth of Indonesia’s health technology landscape: BINUS researchers and research groups, national and international university partners including ITS, UI, ITB, KU Leuven, and I3L, research institutions such as BRIN and Ctech Lab, and industry players including GTM, Xirka, Rohto, and Halodoc. The event will also mark the official launch of BINUS HeAL — the BINUS HealthTech Advanced Laboratory — along with MoU signings that cement new cross-sector research collaborations, and the announcement of the Youth Health Innovators 2026 award winners.

Whether you are a researcher looking to showcase your work, a clinician seeking innovation partners, an industry player scouting for emerging solutions, or a student eager to experience the frontiers of health technology, the BINUS HealthTech Seminar and R&D Exhibition offers a rare convergence of knowledge, collaboration, and inspiration. Come be part of the movement to make healthcare innovation affordable and accessible for all Indonesians.
