The words ‘RESTORING HUMANITY’, made in forms of Sino-Roman calligraphy, a calligraphy that looks like Chinese characters but actually consists of capitalized Roman alphabets, arranged 90° to right.
Humanity is one of biggest challenges we face today and also tomorrow. To restore humanity is the vision we had in order to create design for tomorrow. War, pandemic diseases, poverty, discrimination, laying off workers, we name it: those are problems that require design to be solved.
The ‘RESTORING HUMANITY’ calligraphy wants us, the viewers, to think about how complex problems would be solved, or at least, can be understood in simple ways, as design for tomorrow would help simplify the process of understanding and solving the problem.
This calligraphy reminds us the wisdom of simple things that can interpret and read the complex problems in one big vision.
