The exhibition “Kick Startup Day” demonstrates the dedication and commitment of the Digital Business Program at Bina Nusantara University

 Semarang campus in shaping young digital entrepreneurs in Semarang.

Semarang, October 23, 2023 – The “Kick Startup Day” exhibition, which will be held at Bina Nusantara University, Semarang campus, has become a significant platform to celebrate the creativity and innovation of students in the field of digital business. The event will showcase 15 inspiring works by third-semester students that reflect the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of the younger generation who will thrive in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

In an era where digital innovation and entrepreneurship play a crucial role in the development of the business world, BINUS Semarang has taken bold steps to support students in becoming proficient digitalpreneurs. “Kick Start-Up Day” is a tangible manifestation of BINUS Semarang’s determination to provide a platform for students to transform their creative ideas into successful digital businesses. The provided methods and learning materials equip students to develop innovative and sustainable digital businesses while considering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Within this exhibition, we will showcase 15 exceptional and innovative works by students. These works encompass various aspects of digital business, including mobile applications, digital marketing strategies, and many more. Each work reflects the determination of students to pioneer their own ventures and contribute to the dynamic business ecosystem.

The uniqueness of “Kick Start-Up Day” lies in the fact that it is the outcome of the efforts made by students, which began in their first semester and received support from all the professors. In the first semester, students of the Digital Business program at BINUS Semarang plan their business ideas through the course “Design Thinking in Digital Business”. These ideas were then further reinforced throughout the following semesters, and in the third semester, they launched their product and business.

The Head of Digital Business Program asserts that the “Kick Start-Up Day” event is tangible evidence of our commitment to guiding our students to become competitive digital entrepreneurs. Within the Digital Business program of study, we not only provide knowledge, but also real opportunities to apply it in real-world business scenarios. “Kick Start-Up Day” is an event that is open to all who wish to witness the fruits of the students’ hard work.
