STARTECH SCHOLARSHIP
As part of its commitment to developing future technology leaders, BINUS University proudly presents the StarTech Scholarship, a flagship scholarship program by the School of Computer Science. Through this initiative, BINUS supports outstanding students in maximizing their academic and professional potential, preparing them to compete and succeed on national and global stages.
In an era of accelerating digital transformation and rising industry demand for world-class technology talent, academic strength alone is no longer sufficient. Future innovators need a competitive, focused, and sustainable development ecosystem. The StarTech Scholarship is designed to meet this challenge by combining academic mentoring, competitive training, research opportunities, and industry as well as global exposure.
Qualification
Admission Guidance
- Complete the online registration form for BINUS UNIVERSITY through the official registration website: https://gabung.binus.ac.id and upload the scholarship documents needed.
- Pass the BINUS UNIVERSITY Entrance Test (TPKS).
- Pass the assessment by the StarTech Scholarship Selection Committee.
- A scanned copy of competition award certificates from the past 3 years (during high school)
- A scanned copy of the high school report or equivalent, legalized by the school principal

- Scholarship announcement will be confirmed by the Admissions Office of BINUS UNIVERSITY. If the scholarship application is refused, the applicant will be automatically redirected to the regular admissions process.

Benefit
- Benefit include exemptions from Development Fee (DP3)
- Equipment Fee
- Semester Fee (BP3) and Variable Tuition Fee (SCU) for the first and second semester
- Lab Fee* for the first and second semester
- Others Benefit
- Dormitory scholarship (BINUS SQUARE) for 8 semesters or maximum of four years
- The scholarship is valid for the 1st and 2nd semesters and may be extended from the 3rd to the 8th semester (Single Degree Program) or from the 3rd to the 9th semester (Double Degree Program), based on Academic and/or Non-Academic evaluation by BINUS UNIVERSITY. The decision is final and non-negotiable. A minimum GPA of 3.50 per semester.
- Participating in the series of orientation activities organized by BINUS UNIVERSITY.
- Successfully pass the selection process for at least one role at BINUS UNIVERSITY, such as: Mentor, Tutor, Freshmen Leader, Freshmen Partner, or Student Organization Committee Member.
- Serve as a BINUS UNIVERSITY Ambassador in at least one activity per semester.
- Actively contribute to development activities (specifically designed for scholarship recipients) organized by BINUS UNIVERSITY in at least one activity per semester.
- Submit a competition plan form and actively participate in competitions at the Provincial/National/International level, with a minimum of one competition per semester.
- Become a pioneer or member of a High Impact competition community.
- Join the Scholarship Community.
