Students are trained to create impactful messages to the target audience in expanding new media, and perform social, cultural, and ethical conducts to create responsible communication outcomes. The program works closely with various prominent companies in diverse fields, partnering with local and international organizations to offer students wider exposure to a real work environment. Students will receive extensive opportunities to develop their writing, presentation, negotiation, consultancy, and research skills. Additionally, students will also be able to explore the creative arts surrounding the entertainment business.

The Program has a range of focused courses, called stream, at the undergraduate level. Each stream is aimed to build not only a strong conceptual knowledge in computer science, but also well-defined IT industry skill-sets, including General Computer Science, and Games Technology. To ensure that the skill-sets match with industry requirements, the school adopts an industry-academic program and embeds this program in different courses in the defined streams. For instance, we embed the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) curriculum in our course.

The Graphic Design and New Media Program offers a variety of opportunities in creative industry areas. It is for any student who wants to enhance their creativity and knowledge in the challenging competition of professional designers and global creative industry. It is a four-year study program, during which the foundation courses in art and design are offered in the first year program. In the following three years specific courses are provided to enhance students’ skills in creative product development. In this program, the students will learn how to integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge in art and design to meet industry standards.

Yasa Singgih, seorang businessman lulusan BINUS UNIVERSITY yang menjalankan bisnis fashion. Ia juga telah mendapatkan beberapa penghargaan skala nasional hingga internasional atas semua yang ia lakukan dalam dunia bisnis di Indonesia. Yasa berhasil menjadi juara satu Wirausaha Muda Mandiri Nasional kategori Mahasiswa Kreatif pada tahun 2015, tokoh Nyata Film Dokumenter Pemimpin Muda Bisnis dari Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Indonesia pada 2015, Marketeers Youth of The Year in 2016 oleh Mark Plus. Dan yang paling membanggakan, nama Yasa Singgih masuk dalam 30 Under 30 Young Leaders & Entrepreneurs in Asia versi Forbes tahun 2017.

Billy Setiawan adalah alumni BINUS UNIVERSITY jurusan Sastra Inggris. Ia menerima 4 beasiswa ke USA, Inggris, Tiongkok, Australia. Saat ini, ia sedang menjalani studi S3 di bidang linguistik terapan di University of South Australia sembari juga mengajar bahasa Asing di salah satu sekolah Pemerintah di South Australia. Apa yang didapat selama kuliah dapat diaplikasikan di dalam negeri juga di skala international. Baginya kuliah Sastra Inggris di BINUS UNIVERSITY bukan hanya belajar tentang Shakespeare atau tentangBahasa Inggris namun juga belajar tentang organisasi melalui matakuliah Organizational Behaviour, kemampuan di dunia kerja melalui matakuliah Business Correspondence, juga kemampuan interpersonal melalui matakuliah Character Building.

Edie Kurniawan, seorang profesional lulusan BINUS UNIVERSITY yang menjabat sebagai Vice President Marketing Management PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk. Ia mengambil jurusan MMSI di BINUS UNIVERSITY dengan thesis yang berjudul “Measuring geospatial information system success on individual performance impact” yang berkaitan dengan Indihome. Hal ini juga membawanya sangat sukses dalam karir profesionalnya.Saat Ia menjabat di posisi tersebut, penghargaan diraih seperti The Best Startup & Telco Companies dalam Road to CNBC Indonesia Award 2022: The Best Startup & Telco Companies. Dalam ajang Brand Guardianship Champion 2022, beliau berhasil menyabet penghargaan The Best Brand Guardian Leader.
