Overview

Dr. Scherly Hansopaheluwakan, S.E., M.I.B. serves as the Head of the International Trade Department at BINUS University, Medan Campus. With a strong academic foundation and extensive professional experience, she has developed her career at the intersection of international trade and marketing management. Throughout her academic leadership journey, she has been committed to equipping students with global competencies and preparing them to navigate the dynamic international business environment.

Dr. Scherly has been part of BINUS University for more than a decade. She began her academic career as a Lecturer Specialist in the International Business Management Program (2014–2022), continued as Subject Content Coordinator (2022–2024), and currently serves as Head of the International Trade Department at BINUS @Medan. In this role, she leads curriculum development, research initiatives, and strategic academic collaborations to strengthen international trade education.

As an educator and mentor, she is recognized for her approachable personality, practical teaching style, and dedication to student development. Her commitment extends beyond teaching, inspiring students to become future professionals and leaders in the global marketplace.
