In the process of learning language particularly different language, there are many variables that determine the success of a language learner which include language learning styles. Language learning success is associated with a range of factors including age, gender, motivation, intelligence, anxiety level, learning strategies and language learning styles (Sharp, 2004). One of the main reason of having trouble of mastering English is the students\u2019 learning style. Many students do not know what the best way to support their performance is, the only things that they do is imitating what the others do believing that it is also the right choice for him\/her. Knowing about your learning style will help you a lot to deal with mastering English language. There will be three kinds of learning style that I will share, let\u2019s check for the first learning style\u2026.<\/p>\n
Auditory Learners<\/strong><\/p>\n Verbal instructions is the best way to deliver the information to the auditory learners. They show best memories by hearing and speaking out loud. They remember names better than faces and they don\u2019t get much benefit from pictures or practical activities. They may be slow readers and find it hard to understand graphs and diagrams or read maps. \u00a0The great things from auditory learners are: explaining decisions, telling stories, detecting changes in speech, tone and emotions, responding to lectures, class discussions, understanding grammar, learning languages, remembering conversations, music and lyrics, and delivering speech.<\/p>\n If you are an auditory learner, study works best if you: Make and listen to CDs and audio, indeed you can practice your English through listening English song or listen to classical music as much as you want. Study in groups can also help you to improve your English because you can listen and explain the information to other people, watch English movies or videos is also best for you. In speaking practice, you can use word association and mnemonics, repeat information with closed eyes, sit where you can hear the teacher well, record lectures and discussions, and it is also good for you to find a study buddy (friend) while practicing English. Other way is recording yourself and reading every materials out loud to memorize and understanding deeply. If your lecturer gives you choice to take the test, oral exams and writing responses to lectures is the best one for you. Otherwise, you will not good at doing a test in reading passages and writing answers in a timed test, but you also can try it once.<\/p>\n Dear the auditory learners, now you know what are the best thing for you to support your study both in English materials and others.
