Web Programming is a practical, project-based course that introduces students to the fundamental concepts, tools, and workflows required to design, build, and deploy dynamic websites using modern web technologies. The course covers basic programming with PHP and JavaScript, version control using GitHub, and comprehensive development using WordPress as a content management system (CMS). Students learn how to install and configure WordPress, manage themes, plugins, content, media, and block patterns, as well as develop simple e-commerce features including online store management and payment gateway integration. Through progressive milestones, hands-on practice, and final project presentations, students develop the ability to analyze appropriate web technologies, design a web platform, and implement functional features that meet real-world business and user needs.
