The Golden Batik

There are various forms of Indonesian Art; one of the most distinguished is Batik. Batik itself comes in different styles and patterns, such as printed batiks, batik cap, or in a more traditional way, which is hand-painted batiks. Our store, The Golden Batik, specializes in handling hand-painted batiks. Why do we choose hand-painted batiks? It is simply because we, Felucia Farren S. and Aurelia Melda S., the owners, wanted to explore more about the beauty of hand-painted batiks from all over Indonesia.

The batiks that we sell come from various places in Indonesia, and are made exclusively by well-experienced and senior artisans. We choose the patterns of the batiks thoroughly, and we oversee the process of making the batiks. Our tailors are not ordinary either. We elect the best tailors in town so that we can offer the best hand-painted batiks.

The Golden Batik has a goal in mind, which is to further spread the world of hand-painted batik locally and globally. What differentiates us from other competitors is that we offer home services (only available in a certain area), and fast workmanship. Sometimes we offer free tailoring too for our beloved customers.

The Golden Batik does not come from a random name. The word “Golden” is to express how high the quality of our hand-painted batik is. We choose the color of gold for our logo simply because of the name. Our identity color, maroon, was also chosen to add the elegance factor to our concept.
