\"\"Jakarta, June 25, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 BINUS University, through the Center of Excellence (CoE) of Humanitarian AI and Technology, is hosting The 1st BINUS Summer School on Artificial Intelligence 2024<\/em>. This two-day event, taking place on June 25-26, 2024, at BINUS @Kemanggisan \u2013 Anggrek Campus, aims to present the latest trends in AI and Generative AI, along with their significant contributions to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) issues.<\/p>\n

In her opening remarks, the Rector of BINUS University, Dr. Nelly S.Kom., M.M., CSCA<\/strong>, stated,
\n“This Summer School on AI is an important initiative that reflects BINUS University’s commitment to advancing education and research in the field of artificial intelligence.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“AI is not just a technology of the future\u2014it has already become an integral part of our daily lives. Through this event, we hope to broaden perspectives and equip the younger generation with the necessary skills to become pioneers and innovators in the AI field,”<\/em> Dr. Nelly added.<\/p>\n

The 1st BINUS Summer School on Artificial Intelligence 2024<\/em> will explore fundamental theories, the latest research trends, and ethical issues in AI. This event is expected to enrich the knowledge of students, lecturers, researchers, and practitioners by providing a comprehensive understanding of AI and Generative AI. The program features expert speakers not only from BINUS University but also from other leading institutions, both domestic and international, including University of Indonesia, Monash University Indonesia, National University of Singapore (NUS), and University of Technology Sydney (UTS).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event is organized by the Center of Excellence (CoE) of Humanitarian AI and Technology<\/strong>, which focuses on exploring the potential of AI and technology innovations in addressing various SDG and humanitarian challenges.<\/p>\n

Acara yang berlangsung selama dua hari, 25-26 Juni 2024, berlokasi di\u00a0BINUS @Kemanggisan<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Campus Anggrek ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan tren terkini dalam AI dan Generative AI serta kontribusinya yang signifikan terhadap beberapa isu SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).<\/p>\n

Rektor BINUS University, Dr. Nelly S.Kom., M.M.m CSCA dalam sambutannya mengatakan, \u201cSummer School on AI ini merupakan inisiatif penting yang mencerminkan komitmen BINUS University dalam memajukan pendidikan dan penelitian di bidang kecerdasan buatan,\u201d tuturnya.<\/p>\n

\u201cAI, atau kecerdasan buatan, bukan hanya sebuah teknologi masa depan, tetapi juga sudah menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan kita sehari-hari. Melalui acara ini, diharap dapat membuka wawasan dan memberikan keterampilan yang diperlukan bagi generasi muda untuk menjadi pionir dan inovator di bidang AI,\u201d tambah Dr. Nelly.<\/p>\n

BINUS Summer School on Artificial Intelligence 2024 akan membahas lebih jauh teori fundamental, tren penelitian terkini, dan isu-isu etika AI yang diharapkan dapat memperkaya wawasan mahasiswa, dosen, peneliti dan juga praktisi terkait gambaran komprehensif AI dan Generative AI. Acara ini didukung oleh Narasumber ahli, tak hanya dari BINUS University, namun juga perguruan tinggi lain di dalam dan luar negeri seperti, University of Indonesia, Monash University Indonesia, National University of Singapore (NUS), University of Technology Sydney (UTS).<\/p>\n
