A Year of Discovery for Dalen En

Jakarta, 5 July — Studying and living at BINUS University offers international students a blend of academic excellence and cultural richness in Indonesia. Although transitioning to life abroad comes with challenges, it’s also an exhilarating adventure. 

Join us as we explore Dalen En’s journey as an international student from Cambodia at BINUS University! 

Dalen En began her academic journey in Graphic Design and New Media at BINUS University in September 2023. She has encountered challenges and opportunities when transitioning directly from high school to studying abroad.  

Becoming a BINUS World-Class Scholarship recipient has allowed her to form meaningful connections with fellow scholarship recipients. The strong sense of community among these students, combined with the support from staff and lecturers, has significantly enriched her experience. 

However, balancing her time between rigorous academic commitments, preparing meals, and engaging in social activities has required her to develop a new level of responsibility and maturity, which has helped her navigate the complexities of living independently in a new country. 

Throughout her first year, Dalen has smoothly adapted to a new culture, effective management of responsibilities, and personal growth, all of which have broadened her global perspective.  

As she looks forward to the next three years, these experiences provide a strong foundation for her continued success and development.
