Pursue It! Podcast: Fanning the Flames of Passion in the Youth

Have you ever felt like you’re losing your passion? Would you endeavour to discover a new passion or allow it to fade?  

While many young individuals are ignited by passion, some find themselves entrapped in its pitfalls, a situation experienced by Viriya, a freshman international student from Cambodia pursuing Computer Science at BINUS University. Although it hasn’t been long since Viriya began her studies in Indonesia, being far from her family and old friends may lead to a reduction in her range of daily activities. In this circumstance, she discovered herself confined to reading during her leisure time. 

Lately, delving into new cultures and languages has injected fresh excitement into her life. She has embarked on the journey of learning multiple languages, such as Korean, Chinese, Japanese, French, Spanish, German, and Arabic. Discovering a new passion has filled her with joy and a longing to motivate the younger generation to take the first step in exploring everything they wish to try, to unearth their own passions. Through this podcast, she aims not only to offer guidance tips on how to fan the flames of passion in youth but also showcase the inspiring success story of her friend, Emanuel Karel, as he pursued his passion for music.
