Category
Software & Algorithm
Description
Various firms require the quick growth of technology in information systems to assist them in carrying out activities in an effective and efficient manner. PT Astra Agro Lestari (PT AAL) is one of the companies that use diverse technologies. The issue that PT AAL is now dealing with is that the documentation of demands and usage, as well as damage and loss of gadgets, is insufficient and not centralized. Furthermore, there is no Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for gadget management, making it impossible to manage gadgets effectively. As a result, the goal of this research is to give a proposal for the Gadget Management Information System's analysis and design (SIMAD). The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall technique is used for system design, and the stages are planning, analysis, and design. The study begins with the identification of existing business processes, which are then designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to provide a visual design. SIMAD is expected to be a system design that can help PT AAL in managing gadgets properly so that data can be handled centrally and procedures can be followed through the use of information systems. This research resulted in the design of business processes and applications that became a tool for recording needs and usage, damage, and loss of gadgets.
