What I once thought would be a simple process turned out to be far more complex than expected. From searching for ideas, gathering requirements, analyzing the market, to understanding the production flow, every step demanded more effort, patience, and commitment than I had imagined.

The product development phase was far from smooth. As a team, we went through multiple trials and revisions. From the technical side, our designs had to be reworked several times because they did not meet expectations or quality standards. Each revision tested our persistence, but at the same time taught us that improvement is rarely instant—it is built through repetition and reflection.

The most challenging part for me was market validation. I often doubted whether our product was truly needed or appealing to users. Approaching potential customers and asking for feedback was intimidating. I was afraid of rejection and criticism. However, this phase became one of the most meaningful learning moments. Hearing honest feedback—both positive and critical—opened my perspective. I realized that a good product cannot be based on assumptions alone; it must respond to real needs. Even when the feedback felt tough, I learned to accept it with maturity and use it as fuel for growth.

The turning point came when our product was finally sold. Seeing someone choose and use something we created was deeply fulfilling. It felt like all the effort, uncertainty, and hard work throughout the semester had paid off. That moment strengthened my confidence and reminded me that growth often comes after pushing through doubt and discomfort.

Working in a team also gave me valuable lessons. I learned how important communication and clear role distribution are in achieving shared goals. Each member brought different strengths and weaknesses, and learning to adapt to one another became essential. Even when disagreements happened, we learned to listen, compromise, and move forward together. I realized that small contributions, when managed well, can create meaningful impact.

Through this journey, I’ve grown not only in skills but also in mindset. I’ve learned to be more resilient, more open to feedback, and more confident in my ability to grow. This experience has shown me that as long as I’m willing to learn and keep trying, I am capable of overcoming challenges and creating something meaningful.

By: Rosauly Silitonga | NIM 2702327173 Lecturer : Irene Teresa Rebecca Hutabarat, S.MB., M.M.
